BNCS: wisdom to enlighten the future of Bani Naim:
In 1965 a group of men from Bani Naim town (located 55 KM south Jerusalem), have started an initiative to form a local body in the town that will serve its interest, and to present food, shelter, and medication for the vulnerable and poor families in the area, they decided to establish Bani Naim Charitable Society, BNCS.
The society has been build on the effort of the local population of Bani Naim aiming to present services since it was started for more than 47 years, and continuing to do so.
Many poor families were able to keep their dignity because BNCS offered them jobs for their living. Ali Ahmad Manasra, a blind person, who started to work in the society 33 years ago, says that working in BNCS helped him and his family greatly in providing their living “I don’t know what would have been my destiny without working in BNCS, I belong so much to the society that I feel very bad if I don’t go there for one day. It’s the wall I lean to, and there are many people who feel the same like me”.
With such a vision, BNCS provided job opportunities, medical and educational services to hundreds of Bani Naim people who look to the society as the supporting and aiding organization for their hard social, educational, and health situations
BNCS main goal is to assist the society and develop it. The society has conducted several projects with local and international organizations in educational, health, cultural, and environmental fields. All the project and activities which BNCS provide are part of its comprehensive developmental strategy for the area that will improve the abilities of people to face the ever -increasing changes in life
